Product Documentation Specialist

Kentwood, MI

We are actively looking to add a Product Documentation Specialist to our QA Team.

This permanent, full-time position will be focused on results and will require excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work idependently while also effectively working with cross-functional teams.  This position will involve creating, revising, and storing documents relating to our vendors, customers and product SKUs, ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible.

  • Capable of writing complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Learning products inside and out so that you can create/update documentation & answer questions
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues, customers and vendors as necessary
  • Ensure internaly & external customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
  • Work with QA team, Sales & Procurement to create supporting documentation
  • Work with cross-functional team in support of the Company’s goal
  • Other duties as assigned
  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Qualifications/Requirements include:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food, Business or Communication field preferred
  • Technical writing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce or similar software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, as well as resources, in a dispersed organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective team player with ability to perform in fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Abide by all relevant SOPs as per Company policy as they are related to the position
  • Abide by the company’s safety, quality, environmental, and HR policies at all times
  • Must be able to comply with GMP requirements
  • Professionalism and self-motivation to provide excellent customer service

Pay rate based upon candidate's level of experience
